After the great success of last year’s Florida trip, we’re excited to do it again! We enjoyed bringing our farm-raised beef south and meeting our Florida customers, and we look forward to returning in January or early February.

We plan to offer convenient pickup locations in both Tallahassee and Tampa.

Pricing and Processing

Beef will be priced at $4.75 per pound based on hanging weight. A delivery surcharge of $0.25 per pound of hanging weight will help offset fuel and lodging expenses. For a typical quarter beef, the delivery surcharge will be approximately $62, give or take, depending on the final hanging weight.

We are pleased to be working with Clouds Meats in Carthage, Missouri, as our processor. All beef will be USDA inspected, and customers will pay their processing fees directly to Clouds Meats.

Deposits

A deposit is required to reserve your beef:

• Quarter beef: $250 deposit

• Half beef: $500 deposit

• Whole beef: $500 deposit

Your deposit will be applied toward your beef purchase. To help us confirm there is enough interest and finalize the trip, please submit your deposit by October 1, if possible.

Our goal is to receive orders totaling at least four to six whole beefs to make the trip worthwhile. Reservations are limited, and early deposits will help us finalize the delivery dates and pickup arrangements.

Last year’s trip was a wonderful success, and we’re grateful to everyone who participated. We can’t wait to reconnect with returning customers, meet some new faces, and bring another load of quality Cattleman’s Reserve beef to Florida!
